This weeks winner:

The second race of the ITZR Truck Series season 3 kicked off with 35
drivers vying for just 30 spots in the Las Vegas 125 at the virtual
Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Andrew Fayash of Pennsylvania topped the field once again in
qualifying, scoring his second straight pole position alongside
Trenton Moriarity of Washington.
Fayash jumped to the early lead but began to fight handling issues as
his truck became wildly loose. Fayash began to slip back handing the
lead to Jeff Bye Jr of California on Lap-5.
The race was stopped several times early, beginning with a lap eight
crash involving Brandon Wilkinson of Connecticut, and a lap 15 crash
collecting Bill Tomer of Washington, Glenn Stanley of Virginia, and
Robert Landers of New England. Neither driver could continue on and
Tomer who started the race fourth in the series standings fell eight
spots to 12th.
The final caution flag would fly on lap 39. Setting up a 38-lap green
flag run. Chasing Bye was Patrick Davis of Michigan, who charged to
the 2nd spot after restarting fifth.
Bye would lead 72 of the 83 laps in route to his first victory of the
season and his 11th in the ITZR Truck Series. Davis would follow Bye
across the line in second, with Eric Myers of California, Fayash, and
Chad Needham of Georgia rounding out the top-5 finishing positions.
Fayash maintained the lead in the series standings ahead of Myers and
Scott Rutherford of Missouri.
Myers leads the Apprentice series championship by four points over
Needham and Doug Guiler of Indiana.
A pair of short tracks are up next for the ITZR Trucks with the
Thunder Valley 150 under the lights at Bristol Motor Speedway on
January 26th and followed by New Smyrna Speedway on February 9th.
