Welcome to the Latemodel Shootout Series. This series was started cause I wanted to run a series that was fun and competitive that somewhat resembled local short track racing. It combines the old USRA pro cup series format with the scoring of short track racing. There will be two division North and South you can choose to run in any division you want but not both. If there is over 30 cars in each division then at tracks like Lanier where only 26 cars can start then only the highest 26 cars in points will race. After the season ends in each division the top 10 in points in each division will race in the championship series that will consist of 10 races. Then at the end of that season there will be a All-Star race a Irwindale speedway where anyone who won a race or a championship will automatically be able to race. All others will have to run qualifying races to make the race. Prizes will be awarded for winning each division championship and the main championship. These prizes have not been decided yet but, will be posted as soon it is decided what they will be.
